World War Hulk (2025)
After the events of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Avengers: Secret Wars, Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, receives an urgent message from Sakaar, the distant planet where he was stranded years ago in Thor: Ragnarok. There, he learns that he has a son, Skaar, born during his time as a gladiator in the Grandmasterโs arena. However, before he can fully process this revelation, Sakaar falls under siege by a new alien force led by the warlord Angmo-Asan, also known as the Red King. The invaders decimate the planet, forcing Hulk and his son to fight for survival. Enraged by the destruction of his second home, Hulk fully embraces his Worldbreaker form, an immensely powerful version of himself that has been dormant for years. With Skaar by his side, he vows revenge and returns to Earth, believing that the planetโs heroes abandoned him when he needed them most. However, upon his return, Hulk learns that the Illuminatiโa secret group composed of Doctor Strange, Reed Richards, Namor, and othersโwere responsible for exiling him from Earth in the first place. Filled with fury, Hulk declares war on the heroes who wronged him, determined to make them pay.
As Hulk begins his rampage, Earth's mightiest heroes, including the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four, unite to stop him. However, Hulk has grown stronger than ever before, and his armyโcomposed of gladiators, Sakaaran warriors, and even some Earth-based anti-heroesโproves to be nearly unstoppable. Major battles erupt across the planet, from New York to Wakanda, as Hulk systematically takes down the Illuminati members one by one. Iron Man (if an alternate version exists in the MCU by this time) deploys his Hulkbuster armor, but it proves ineffective. Thor engages Hulk in combat, but even the God of Thunder struggles against his unrelenting strength. Even Doctor Strangeโs magic fails to contain him. The situation grows dire when Skaar, unsure of his fatherโs crusade, begins to question whether the war is truly justified. Meanwhile, Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) and Betty Ross (who could potentially return in this film) attempt to reason with Bruce, trying to bring him back from the edge of total destruction. However, consumed by rage, Hulk refuses to listen, declaring that Earth must suffer as Sakaar did.
In the final battle, Hulk reaches his full Worldbreaker potential, causing massive earthquakes and nearly splitting the planet apart with his sheer power. The heroes, realizing that brute force cannot stop him, attempt one final strategyโusing Skaar to reach Hulkโs humanity. As father and son battle, Skaar reminds Hulk of who he truly is, forcing him to relive his painful past and the love he once had for both Sakaar and Earth. In an emotional climax, Hulk finally regains control, though he is left devastated by the destruction he has caused. Instead of surrendering, he makes the ultimate decisionโhe exiles himself into space once more, knowing that his power is too great for Earth. In the aftermath, the world is left shaken, and the surviving heroes reflect on the cost of their decisions. The film ends with a post-credits scene hinting at Hulkโs next journeyโperhaps an encounter with cosmic entities such as Galactus or the introduction of a new threat that only he can face.
