The Foreigner (2017) 

Quan Ngoc Minh (Jackie Chan) is a humble London restaurateur with a tragic past. A former Special Forces operative from Vietnam, Quan has endured immense loss, including the deaths of his two elder daughters and wife during the Vietnam War. His only remaining family is his teenage daughter, Fan, whom he adores. His world is shattered when Fan is killed in a terrorist bombing orchestrated by a group calling themselves the "Authentic IRA" in London. Devastated and consumed by grief, Quan is determined to find the people responsible for his daughter's death. He seeks justice through official channels, visiting Scotland Yard and pleading with the authorities, but he is met with bureaucracy and indifference. Meanwhile, Quan continues his hunt, piecing together information and systematically eliminating those protecting the bombers. His quest for justice is relentless and personal, driven by the memory of his daughter. He infiltrates Hennessy's farmhouse, defeating his guards and finally confronting Hennessy face-to-face. During a tense exchange, Quan forces Hennessy to reveal the names of the bombers. Armed with the truth, Quan tracks down Sean and his accomplices, confronting them in a brutal showdown. Utilizing his combat skills and resourcefulness, Quan dispatches the terrorists, ensuring they can never harm innocent lives again. With his mission complete, Quan anonymously tips off the British authorities, allowing them to take credit for dismantling the terrorist cell. Having avenged his daughter, Quan returns to his quiet life, carrying the weight of his loss but finding a semblance of closure. Hennessy, disgraced and exposed for his connections to the IRA, faces political ruin.
